About the University:
California State University, San Bernardino, one of the fastest growing campuses in the nation, is located in a Southern California metropolitan area 60 miles east of Los Angeles and 60 miles west of Palm Springs, at the foot of the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest. Noted for its beautiful 642-acre campus, the university serves a student body of approximately 17,000. The San Bernardino-Riverside region is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the nation. The area offers a wide variety of recreational and cultural opportunities. Housing costs are about one-half of those in Los Angeles. Temporary Appointment:
Employment in a temporary assignment may end before or be extended beyond the appointment expiration date, and/or be converted to a full-time/half-time or greater, probationary or part-time, temporary position contingent upon availability of funds and operational needs of the University.

Temporary Pool Positions:
These positions are advertised to establish a pool of qualified candidates for various classifications. Applications for our pool positions are accepted on an on-going basis. Assignments will vary in length from full-time permanent positions to temporary full-time, part-time and hourly positions.
