Campus Grants and Contracts
As of January 7, 2004, the Chancellor's Office has re-emphasized that the campus must track all grants to the university: Executive Order 890 - Administration of Grants
and Contracts in Support of Sponsored Programs.
The university's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) continues to serve as the coordinator of all grant information for CSUSB. All Academic and Administrative grant proposals, either planned or in-progress, being submitted by the University or the Foundation, must be discussed and reviewed by the staff of the ORSP well before their completion.
The "Policy for the Administration of Grants and Contracts in Support of Sponsored Programs" addresses the process for non-academic grants,
as well as academic grants.
Again, it is important that all grants be processed by OSRP.
While most grants are administrated by the Foundation, some, for various reasons and/or restrictions, may be administered using a campus state-side process. For more information on this updated process, please review the Grants and Contracts Checklist and Conflict of Interest Statement.
