Employee Orientation
Objectives:
To better serve our customers and to ensure that all employee paperwork (new hires and rehires) is completed and processed in a timely manner.
To increase employee awareness of the Foundation’s mission, purpose, policies and procedures.
Employee Orientation Guidelines:
All new hired and rehired employees should be scheduled to attend an orientation.
Employee Orientations will be scheduled every Wednesday at 3:30 pm. The employee must be scheduled to attend an orientation within the first two weeks that they are hired. If they are a one-month or short-term employee, they should attend orientation during their first week of employment.

Special accommodations for groups can be made by appointment. Contact Human Resources for more information at 77589.
A Personnel Transaction Report (PTR) must be given to the Foundation's Human Resources Office prior to the orientation session so that we can send you an employment package and this will assist us in preparing for the session.
Please have your new/rehired employee complete their employment package prior to attending the orientation. Have the employee bring their completed paperwork, and the required documentation for their I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form (see I-9 List of Acceptable Documents - for example: Social Security Card, Picture I.D.) to the orientation session.
All employees are to be paid for attending the orientation. If you have a new hire and you want them to attend prior to their start date, we will accommodate your needs, but please be aware that we must pay them for the session and that can be included on their first timesheet/time card.
Orientation lasts about one hour, depending on the number of attendees.
Should you have any questions, please contact us at (909) 537-3544, Extension 77589.
