Reclassification
For all reclassifications, a Request for Reclassification form must be completed and submitted to the Foundation Human Resources Department. Reclassifications are utilized when an employee is performing new responsibilities, of at least 40% difference than their present position. If an employee is performing the responsibilities of a vacant or newly proposed position, the reclassification of a position is based upon the procedures that follow.
STEP I
If an employee or supervisor is requesting the reclassification, the employee must complete the Reclass A Form in his or her own words and sign the form.

Section A-I: Basic Data About the Position
Section A-II: Description of Duties
The employee will submit to the supervisor the original copy of the Reclass A Form for his/her review. The supervisor’s signature indicates only review, not approval.
STEP II
The supervisor will then complete the Reclass B Form
Request for Reclassification Part B
Section B-I: Supervisor’s Certification
The supervisor will then date and sign the certification section.
STEP III
Forward the completed Reclass A & B Form, along with a current reclassification job description to the Foundation Human Resources Department.
