Enjoy the Summer!The Green Campus Program continues through the summer as we get ready for our incoming freshman! We're excited to meet new people and continue spreading the word about energy efficiency and it's connection to the environment! Please join us! Keep it green, CSUSB!
Last year's Welcome Week event with Housing and Residential life was a great success. Over 150 people went through our Sustainability Maze, learned about energy efficiency in their dorm rooms, and got their grub on! This Fall we hope to bring the Sustainability Maze back, along with other great events that we have adopted over the last year, and others that we have only dreamed of. From our Earth Day 2009 event we are bringing back the Relay for a Brighter Future. We also hope to offer a Smash 'Em Up event, in which two participants race the clock to see who can smash the most amount of cans as possible! We hope to collaborate with other clubs and organizations on campus to prove to incoming Freshman that sustainability is a CSUSB endeavor, part of the culture and the fun of being a student on our beautiful green campus!
