- CalPERS Member Home Loan Program:
The CalPERS Member Home Loan Program is a benefit available to help CalPERS Members with their home financing needs. An eligible employee may purchase their
new home or refinance their existing home loan using the Program. Employees participating in CalPERS Member Home Loan Program will actually be doing business
with a CalPERS authorized home loan lender who is committed to giving the employee the service they deserve at a competitive rate.

Down payment assistance, subsidy and grant programs are available through a working relationship with local non-profit agencies.

- CSUSB/City of San Bernardino Economic Development Agency (EDA) Housing Loan Program:
- The EDA will provide a forgivable down payment of up to 20% of the purchase price of the home or an amount not to exceed
$70,000 to full-time tenure track faculty members. This is a second mortgage and certain restrictions apply.

Long-Term Care Plan
CalPERS Long-Term Care Plan
- Long term care plans cover certain services provided in a setting other than an acute care unit of a hospital, such as a nursing home, residential care
facility, adult day care center or in the home, according to the plan selected.
- A person requires long term care when assistance is needed with two or more of the six Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting,
transferring (moving in and out of a bed, chair or wheelchair), eating or continence.
- There are three plans to choose from: (a) comprehensive, (b) facilities only, and (c) partnership.
- All CalPERS employees, spouses, parents, parents-in-law and siblings (age 18 and older) are eligible to enroll.
