Remanufactured Toner Cartridge Information

Did you know?
  • For every cartridge that is remanufactured, approximately 2-1/2 pounds of plastic is withheld from the waste stream.*
  • Stacked one on top of the other, a tower of cartridges produced annually by an average remanufacturer would exceed the height of the Empire State Building.*
  • The manufacturing process involved in making a new cartridge requires the burning of fossil fuel, specifically oil or natural gas. On average, three quarts of oil are burned to make each new cartridge.*

The Purchasing Office would like to help you in making environmentally healty choices for your toner cartridges. We have at least two suppliers of recycled toner cartridges available, Freedom Cartridge and EX P.O.W. Office Products.
